(AP) - Prosecutors say they have dropped charges against a man accused of throwing a rock and damaging a professional football player's car in Horry County. A prosecutor did not say why a charge of malicious injury to personal property was dismissed against 18-year-old Colby Sarvis.

He was accused of traveling along a highway and throwing a rock at Anthony Waters' car in July. Waters is a San Diego Chargers linebacker and former Clemson standout.
