(AP) - Prosecutors say they have dropped charges against a man accused of throwing a rock and damaging a professional football player's car in Horry County.
A prosecutor did not say why a charge of malicious injury to personal property was dismissed against 18-year-old Colby Sarvis.
He was accused of traveling along a highway and throwing a rock at Anthony Waters' car in July. Waters is a San Diego Chargers linebacker and former Clemson standout.
Waters and another man have been charged with hitting Sarvis. No court dates have been set for the men.
Waters was taken in the third round of the NFL draft by the Chargers in the spring.
