Seneca, SC - A South Carolina man has been charged with stabbing his brother-in-law to death.
Multiple media outlets report that 47-year-old Randall Eugene Mauldin was arrested early Friday and charged with murder.
Authorities say Mauldin stabbed 53-year-old Joe Bentley Gulledge around 1 a.m. Friday after the men got into a fight near the Seneca home where they both lived.
Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says Gulledge bled to death from a single knife wound to his left leg. Authorities found Gulledge's body in the passenger seat of a van parked outside his home.
Mauldin was in the Oconee County jail Friday afternoon. It was not clear if he had an attorney.
Investigators say they believe drugs and alcohol were involved.
