One Person Killed in Head-on Collision with Log Truck

According to investigators, the truck was traveling north on US-17A and a 1994 Chevy Camaro was traveling south when the driver of the car crossed the centerline and struck the truck.
The log overturned and spilled the load of logs onto the roadway.
The collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
