Berkeley County, SC - Police say a 63-year-old man was killed when his pickup truck went into a ditch in Berkeley County Wednesday morning.
According to investigators, on Nov. 11 at 7 a.m. a pickup truck driven by John Rembert from Pineville was traveling on Highway 45 near St. Stephens when it ran off the right side of the roadway and into a ditch.
According to Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Salisbury weather was a factor in this accident.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to authorities.
The accident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Berkeley County Coroner Office.
