North Charleston, SC - On Wednesday, Nov. 11, the City of North Charleston will honor American veterans during a ceremony “Tribute to Our American Veterans.”
The event will take place at Sterett Hall located on the Old Navy Base (1530 7th Street) in North Charleston from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm.

(web | news | bio) along with City Council members and other dignitaries will be present to salute veterans of all wars. Each veteran will receive a special commemorative coin for their dedication and service to our country.
More than 400 American veterans were honored at the city’s ceremony last year. Guest speaker for the occasion will be Retired Colonel Robert J. Mastrion, United States Marine Corp recipient of a Silver Star and two Purple Hearts.
The event is open to the public and all veterans are encouraged to attend and participate. For more information or for veteran registration call 745-1028.
