Goose Creek, SC -
Goose Creek police are trying to find the man they say robbed a restaurant at gunpoint Saturday night.
They say the suspect entered the Ocean Island Chinese Restaurant on South Alliance Drive at about 9:45 p.m. Authorities say the suspect went up to a female employee and fired two shots while demanding money.
The employee was not hurt.
Investigators say the suspect left the restaurant on foot and headed towards the CVS Pharmacy near the intersection of College Park Road and Corporate Parkway.
The suspect wore dark pants, a dark short sleeved t-shirt with a longer white t-shirt underneath. He also had a dark shirt wrapped around his face and appears to have white tape over his nose. He is about 6’ tall and 150 pounds.
The weapon appears to be a small caliber long gun, with a scope and wooden fore-grip and stock. Authorities also say the suspect used a plastic bag to hide the rifle before he entered the restaurant.
Authorities say that one of the workers at the restaurant recognized the robber as one of two people that had robbed the restaurant on Oct. 26.
If you have any information on this robbery, please call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
