Greenville, SC - A South Carolina man is facing 45 years in prison in the killings of two men at a party prosecutors say was organized so one of the victims could settle a score with another man.
The Greenville News reports 24-year-old Brandon Clark insisted he is innocent Wednesday even after he was convicted of two counts of murder.
Authorities say 21-year-old Kamron Wade and 26-year-old Christopher Garland were shot inside a car as they left the party near Pelzer in July 2006.
Clark's attorney says his client fired nine shots in the air, but never fired on the men. He pointed out an expert couldn't link a bullet found in the car to Clark's gun.
Prosecutors say no one else was seen with a gun at the party.
