Mount Pleasant -
A far cry from the lines during last November's Presidential election.
Today the wait times at several Mount Pleasant polling locations were just minutes at most.
"I expected it to be a little busier because there's a lot of hype going on with this election," said one voter.
During the day most polling precincts reported voter turnout between 10 to 15 percent of the town's 44,000 registered voters, by comparison the presidential election saw about 80 percent. By the time the polls closed 25 percent of the voters reportedly cast their ballots.
Motivating voters were the choices on the ballots. They decided a 3 way race for Mayor and chose from 19 candidates vying for 4 council seats.
