Berkeley County, SC - Police have arrested two people after authorities say they found a meth lab at a residence in Berkeley County.
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office charged Jerry P. Williams, Jr., 47, and Teresa M. Singleton, 44, both of Ridgeville with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and exposing a child to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Authorities say Williams, Jr. had been arrested on Oct. 22 for intent to manufacture methamphetamine and Singleton was under investigation by the Berkeley County Drug Enforcement Unit.
On Oct. 28 members of the Berkeley County Drug Enforcement unit were told by the South Carolina Department of Social Services that a two-year-old child had tested positive for methamphetamine.
The suspects were arrested at their home on Wednesday and went before a bond judge on Thursday morning. Bond was set at $10,000 on each of them.
