Charleston, SC - The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office say that two women were arrested for prostitution at a gentleman’s club as well as a prominent Isle of Palms doctor for prescription drugs.
The Sheriff’s Office say they have charged Elizabeth Griswold and Ashley Russel for prostitution at the Silk Stockings gentleman club in North Charleston and charged Dr. Alberto Santos for prescription drugs found in his car.
According to investigators, on Tuesday Charleston County Metro Unit Detectives were acting in an undercover capacity entered the establishment where they were solicited for sexual acts by three different females for money.
Santos was charged with theft of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of prescription medication, and PWID controlled substance.
He has a bond hearing this evening. Santos is a psychiatrist and was found in possession of his patient’s medication.
