Berkeley County, SC - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident that happened early Sunday morning.

Authorities say 51 year old Andrew J. Jackson, Jr. from Huger was ejected from his pickup truck after failing to stop at the intersection of Cainhoy Road and Clements Ferry Road.

Investigators say the truck flipped over during the accident. They say Jackson was not wearing a seatbelt and he died at the scene.

Two other victims, authorities say, were also ejected from the truck. A female passenger was taken to MUSC and the other passenger refused to go to the hospital.
