Authorities Investigate Murder in West Ashley

West Ashley, SC -
Charleston County authorities are investigating a homicide in the Ponderosa subdivision in West Ashley. It happened around 3:30 this afternoon. Officials say 24-year old Shawn Porter was shot multiple times outside his home on Hitching Post Road. His family described him as a quiet young man who had no enemies.
Officials did say the victim received a phone call prior to the shooting it's unclear what was said during the conversation but it is something police will be looking into.
Authorities have named Antwaun Henderson as a suspect. They believe he could be driving a white Tahoe with tinted windows and a partial SC license plate with the numbers 284. Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should contact CrimeStoppers at 554-1111.
