A 15 year old John’s Island Boy is dead after neighbors say he was playing with a loaded gun. It happened yesterday evening on Hollington Road. Neighbors say Roberto Valdez and his friends were in a car when the 15 year old pointed a gun at his neck and pulled the trigger. We're told the boy was joking around at the time.

"(He) Just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time, kids think they're invincible and nothing is going to happen and playing around, it cost him his life," said Angie Kolwyck, who dialed 911.

So far the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office has not arrested anyone though; they say they are continuing to investigate.
