(AP) -- Authorities say a 39-year-old man wanted in the beating death of a Darlington County store owner has been arrested at a bus station in Pennsylvania.
Hartsville police Chief Tim Kemp said Eddie Huggins was arrested Thursday evening as he stepped off the bus in Pittsburgh. Warrants for Huggins' arrest accuse him of killing 57-year-old Keith Hancock at his gardening store Monday.
Kemp said Friday that surveillance video shows Hancock being beaten to death with a wooden stick thought to be an ax handle. He said it shows the attacker pretending to buy it before pummeling Hancock.
Kemp said Huggins will be officially charged when he's extradited to Hartsville.
The chief said Huggins grew up in Hartsville but recently was released from prison in Virginia.
