A whale washed onto shore early Sunday morning on the Isle of Palms. Officials say they found the whale near 6th Avenue. They called NOAA and the whale was taken away. This is the second time a whale has washed onto a Lowcountry beach in the past month. On August 22, a dead pygmy sperm whale was found on Folly Beach. Scientists are still studying that whale to find out what happened to it.
