Man Shot in Head; Police Searching for Shooter

A man was shot in the head and now deputies are searching for the shooter.
It happened Friday at 5:30 a.m. in the Stratton Capers neighborhood, located off of Ashley Phosphate Rd in Dorchester County. The victim was transported by Meducare helicopter to the Medical University of South Carolina. He is listed in critical condition.
Deputies arrived to find the victim lying in the roadway near 38 Stratton Drive.
The victim has not been identified as the investigation is on-going.
