A word of warning as you head to the beach, be on the lookout for jellyfish.
Folly Beach lifeguards say as many as 30 people were stung every day last week.
Part of the reason may be because there are so many different species of jellyfish in our area.
"We have little small ones, they're probably the worst as far as stinging and little bit bigger red ones that are kinda itchy when they sting," Folly Beach Lifeguard, Chris Knebeo said.
DNR officials also say there are more jellyfish as the water gets warmer.
