The first Dominoes Pizza on Folly Road on James Island robbed at around 9:40 p.m. Then the Lil’ Cricket also on James Island hit around 10 p.m. An hour later the Hibachi Grill on Savannah Highway was robbed. Authorities say all three were robbed by two men with masks and handguns. Now they are investigating whether they are connected.

Meanwhile businesses nearby are on the lookout.

“I saw the police cars go by last night and one of my employees told me they had a robbery down the road,” Debra Howey, manager at SKiBOS nearby said. “Really, I was surprised about that, because usually on James Island you don’t see a lot of that.”

But last night's incidents’ has her taking precautions.

“At closing time I want to make sure the doors are locked and stuff like that, that the employees don’t leave by themselves. We always make sure they walk with somebody and pay attention to the people that are around the area,” Howey said.

Authorities tell us no one was injured during any of these robberies.
