Mount Pleasant -
Memorial Waterfront Park is Mount Pleasant’s newest gem.
"Crown Jewel of the state of South Carolina," said former Mayor Harry Hallman.
The 9 acre oasis is hidden beneath the towering Ravenel Bridge; it’s a place where hundreds showed up to take in nature's beauty. The $14 million park is the largest investment ever made by the town of Mount Pleasant. It offers a 1250 foot pier, one of the largest in the south east.
"It's really nice very pretty nice that people can go fishing on the pier so I like it a lot," one visitor said.
The park is free to attend.
