Columbia, SC - Two men have been sentenced to federal prison for robbing a Goose Creek credit union.
Eric Robinson, 19, and Joshua Stokes, 23, both of North Charleston, were sentenced in federal court on Thursday, July 2 for armed bank robbery and firearm charges, US Attorney Walter Wilkins said.
Just after 3 p.m. on September 16, 2008, Robinson and Stokes ran into the South Carolina Federal Credit Union on Bridgetown Road in Goose Creek. Stokes had a silver revolver while Robinson used what appeared to be a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, a reported stated.
Both men go away, but were arrested shortly after, the report stated.
Stokes received a sentence of 97 months in federal prison and Robinson received 106 months in federal prison, Wilkins said.
