The green fair is coming to the Holy City. Thursday, Mayor Riley and the city's green committee met at the aquarium to officially welcome the fair. The purpose of the fair is to create excitement and enthusiasm for green products, services and technologies available while using an environmentally responsible forum of education and entertainment.
"Charleston's really setting the standard and I think going to get a lot of recognition for doing such a big event about such an important topic," said Suzie Weester, Charleston Green Fair.
The fair takes place September 28 at Marion Square downtown.
