Extended Hours for S.C. Employment Office

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP)-- State officials are extending the hours for all South Carolina Employment Security Commission offices to handle extra unemployment benefits claims. Offices will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The Federal government has approved an extra 13 weeks of unemployment benefits for qualified people.
