(AP) -- Two more wrongful death lawsuits have been filed stemming from last year's furniture store blaze which killed nine Charleston firefighters.
Suits were filed in state court last month by the families of assistant engineer Michael French and firefighter Brandon Thompson.
Suits have now been brought in state court by families of eight of the nine firefighters. Those lawsuits name the furniture store and various contractors and furniture companies as defendants.
Charleston paused last month for memorial services to honor the fallen firefighters on the anniversary of the June 18th fire.
