Charleston, SC - Two men have been charged for robbing a man in downtown Charleston.
Joshua Stubblefield, 24, of North Charleston, and Jerry Lender, 33, of Summerville, were arrested about 10 minutes after they robbed a man at Church and South Market Streets, according to police.
The men were detained at the Robert Mills Manor and police found the victim’s credit cards and cell phone in their possession, police said.
Police brought the victim and a witness to the location where they identified the men as the ones who committed the strong armed robbery.
Stubblefield and Lender are both charged with strong armed-robbery and are being held in the Charleston County Detention Center, police said.
The investigation continues.
