Police Identify Suspect in Shooting of College Student

Travis Coaxum, 25, of Hampton Avenue, North Charleston, is wanted on the charge of assault and battery with intent to kill. Anyone with information regarding Coaxum can call Charleston Police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
The shooting happened near 213 St. Philip Street. The College of Charleston student and the suspect were involved in a brief altercation and the suspect shot the student.
