It was an emotional reunion as mother and daughter were reunited after being apart for 8 hours.
"I was just relieved, I was so relieved that it was over," said Sierra Wright.
Her daughter McKenia went missing around 9am this morning. Throughout the day Amber Alert signs flashed all over the state. Family members say her 13 year old cousin Jasmine snuck out of the house then drove off in her aunt's car with the baby. Sierra Wright told ABC News 4, she didn't care why Jasmine took off she just wanted her daughter back safe.
"I think if my family wasn't here helping me out and supporting me through this then I probably would've broken down a long time ago," she said.
Jasmine and McKenia were found around 6pm tonight near Rivers Avenue; both were unharmed. It was a huge relief to a very worried mother.
"I think she's (McKenia) sort of glad to be home, she got food and now she's a happy camper," Wright said.
Since Amber Alerts were activated in South Carolina in 2002, at least 35 missing children have been located.
