An Amber Alert was issued this morning for 11 month old McKenia Wright. Her mother Sierra says she noticed her daughter missing around 9am. She believes McKenia was taken by her 13 year old cousin Jasmine. Sierra believes Jasmine took her car, a 2006 white Ford Escape.
"I have no idea where she went, I don't know why she went where she went, I'm really not sure," Sierra Wright said.
She believes Jasmine wanted to sneak out without being heard so she took her daughter who was staying in the same room. Whatever the reason, she says, she only wants her daughter back safely.
"I just want to find McKenia, I don't care about the car, don't care where Jasmine has been, I just want to find McKenia," she told ABC News 4.
Jasmine and McKenia are likely in Wright's Ford Escape. The plate number is SC 528 UXZ. It likely has a pink baby head band on the rear view mirror. Anyone with information should call 911.
