North Charleston, SC - Police arrest two men in North Charleston during a drug bust.
According to police, Kenneth Quinton Grant, 26, of Huger and Warren Washington, 32, of Charleston were arrested on Wednesday, May 20 on Rivers Avenue and Harley Street in North Charleston on several drug charges.
Grant is being charged with possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute near a school, possession of Cocaine base with intent to distribute, possession of Cocaine base with intent to distribute near a school, Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute, and Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute near a school.
Grant is also being charged by Berkley County for assault and battery with intent to kill.
Washington is being charged with Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute, and Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute near a school.
The North Charleston Narcotics Unit and S.P.E.E.D. Team seized 322.6 grams of marijuana, 6.3 grams of cocaine base, and .9 grams of cocaine during a controlled purchase and arrest operation.
The total street value of what was seized is less than $4,000.
