Adams Run, SC - A man is still recovering after suffering a gun shot wound over the weekend.
According to Deputies, on Sunday, May 17 Samuel White, 34, called police and told them he had been shot. White told police he was in his car on Wiltown Road in Adams Run, which is outside of rural West Ashley.
When deputies arrived, they found White with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
EMS was called to the scene and transported White to MUSC.
Police said when they found the suspect, Randolph Roberts, 53, they didn’t find the gun. Roberts said he had thrown the gun into the creek.
Police said the dispute had started over a rental dispute.
Roberts is being charged with assault and battery with intent to kill.
