Two bomb scares in one day has authorities questioning if they are related. The first at Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant this morning. The second off of Hwy 17 at Arlington Drive. Authorities found what they described as military grade flares, eight in all. Two about a foot long and the rest about the size of your pinky finger. At this point, police are not saying how they got there. The flares are not considered dangerous. They were found by a construction crew working on a church parking lot. The Money Man Pawn Shop was evacuated for about 45 minutes. Charleston County Sheriff Al Canon says it's always better to be safe than sorry. The bomb squad was also called out to Mt. Pleasant this morning. When someone spotted what looked like a bundle of dynamite on a park bench by Alhambra Hall. The item was destroyed at the scene. No word on what it was. Cannon says they will check if these two incidents are related or just a coincidence.
