Tapes of phone calls Senator Randy Scott made to his wife the night he was arrested for DUI will not be released to the public. Two agencies got the tapes through the Freedom of Information Act, but a judge has stopped them from being released. That judge says releasing the tapes could keep Scott form having a fair trial. Scott was arrested April 19, 2008 after a Dorchester County Sheriff’s Deputy saw him swerving. Scott says the arrest is politically motivated.
