O.K. I understand fully where you are coming from, and respect you're apparent restraint in passing judgement. My only point is that when we hear things, we give them validity where it isn't due. I'm only requesting that we stop discussing this in front of our kids at night. People will get online, read what you wrote, and repeat it. That becomes part of the material people use to pass judgement. When you put out information like that, are you willing to give your source? That should be the standard here.

News organizations have standards for verifying the reliability of information. People do not. But why shouldn't we. I tell my kids not to repeat anything they hear at school. Do they listen? I don't know. I do know that we should be more of an example to them in this very difficult time, and not pass judgement until the facts of the case are released by an official organization.
