Senator Randy Scott is now free on bond after being arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Shortly before midnight, Scott was pulled over by a Dorchester County Sheriff's Deputy. After failing a field sobriety test, Scott was transported to the Dorchester County jail in Summerville. A bond hearing was held at seven o'clock this morning for Scott, and he was released on a $992 personal recognizance bond. Scott represents District 38. He was elected to the Statehouse in 2004.
