A Colleton County man is arrested and charged with second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Kevin Dale Leshowitz, 25, was arrested Monday after police obtained a warrant for his home in reference to child pornography. Detectives with the Sheriff's Office learned through their investigation that the defendant in question had been receiving photos/videos regarding child pornography over the internet. 

Leshowitz is charged with second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and a probation violation.  Leshowitz is a registered sex offender in South Carolina for a conviction in March of 2006 for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature..

The victims appear to be young juvenile males under the age of 12.

A $50,000 dollar surety bond was set on the sex offense and $30,000 surety bond set on the probation violation charge.
