A massive brush fire was reported Thursday evening in lower Williamburg County near the town of Trio; that's about an hour north of Charleston.
The fire covers about 40 to 50 acres. As of Thursday evening, state forestry officials had put a containment line around the fire, and they tell us they believe it is almost under control.
Right now, four ploughs are working to douse the flames.
