North Charleston, SC -
(AP) -- Authorities say a fire at a North Charleston laboratory that performs drug tests was intentionally set.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reports firefighters needed more than 20 minutes to get the blaze at the AccuDiagnotics lab under control Thursday night.
North Charleston Fire Department spokesman Bianca Sancic says the fire was arson. She says investigators do not want to specify how the fire started or whether an accelerant was used.
On its Web site, AccuDiagnostics says it is one of the fastest growing drug screening labs in the county. The company is based in Greenville and has 19 labs across the United States.
