
Join me as I get fit in four months at East Shore Athletic Club - just in time for my June wedding!
I have been paired up with ESAC Trainer, Kristen Corson - I have had a male trainer in the past and was really excited for the fact that I am working out with a woman. Immediately when we met, we clicked. Kristen sat with me and asked some questions of my lifestyle and asked me to start keeping a food diary. Believe it or not, I wasn't eating enough - which is a problem for many of us, we get so busy at work that we only eat a little, when our body needs that continous fuel.
We meet twice a week for an hour. Some of the workouts can be challenging but each time, I get a little stronger and a little more balanced. (She loves the Bosu ball) The time flies by when we're working out and even on the days I'm tired, Kristen pumps me up to keep going.
It's been 1 month now and I have already seen a change in my body - so far 9 inches lost and 4 lbs gone! I keep up with the food
diary---never had tried one before but it works! On the days I don't see Kristen I go to East Shore and work out on my own. I also have a pedometer and try to get in 10,000 steps a day. I still crave chocolate (not much of a potato chip person) so I have it only in moderation - one small square of dark chocolate. I have many more months to come and are actually looking forward to seeing how my wedding dress will fit soon.
